We are a British Parachute Association Affiliated Centre running a full range of courses, providing facilities for continuation, progression and coaching in further skills. We operate an 18 place Turbine Cessna Grand Caravan and a 4 place Cessna 182. We have on site parking, toilets, indoor training facilities, a weekend bunkhouse capacity of 26, canteen & licensed bar facilities.
The Centre can open for parachuting 7 days a week by prior arrangement, however parachuting is normally programmed, weather permitting:
- 0830hrs on Saturdays, Sundays, and during British Summer Time on Bank Holiday Mondays.
- 1300hrs on Wednesdays & Fridays during British Summer Time (but not generally Wednesdays after a Bank Holiday or a full time week*).
*Our full time weeks are generally the 2nd weeks of June, July and August (see News & Events for specific dates).
We generally close mid week during the 1st 2 weeks of May for staff training & aircraft maintenance (see News & Events for specific dates).
We are prepared to consider any dates for a group booking.
The Centre Bunkhouse is £5.00 per person per night plus £1 for coin op heated showers, booking is normally by prior arrangement. There is no charge to camp on the Airfield & there is a range of accommodation in the area, details available from the following link:
